    As surely as night follows day, human beings have believed in the notion of "normal" since the dawn of time.
   However...
   How this diverse band of hairless apes defines the notion of "normal" is a matter of constant change.
    Centuries ago, Western man's "normal"concept of reality was based on this:

   But also this...
